TASKBOX ("we", "our", or "us") is an all-in-one productivity and connectivity app that helps you scan documents, extract text, manage PDFs, buy internet bundles, complete surveys, and access other smart tools. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the TASKBOX mobile applications and related services (the "Service").
By using TASKBOX, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We design TASKBOX to collect only the information necessary to provide and improve the Service.
- Account information: When you create an account, we may collect your phone number, name, and basic profile details needed to identify you and secure your account.
- Usage data: We may collect non-sensitive information about how you use the app (for example, feature usage, session duration, and in-app interactions) to improve performance and user experience.
- Documents & scans: When you scan documents, create PDFs, or use text extraction, your content is processed to provide the feature. Depending on your settings, documents may be stored locally on your device or securely in our systems so you can access your history.
- Survey data: If you create or respond to surveys, we collect the questions, answers, and related metadata (such as timestamps) in order to display results, analytics, and reports.
- Payment and subscription data: When you purchase internet bundles, subscriptions, or other services, we may process transaction details (such as payment method, bundle type, and transaction status). Payment processing is handled by trusted third-party providers (for example, WAAFI, Premier Wallet, or E-Dahab), and we do not store full payment credentials.
- Device and connectivity information: We may collect basic device information (such as device model, operating system version, and network type) to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance, including internet speed tests.

Where possible, sensitive content such as scanned documents and signatures is stored securely and may be kept locally on your device based on your usage and settings.
5. Your Rights & Choices
- You can view and manage your scans, documents, and surveys within the app and delete them where supported.
- You may update your account information (such as phone number or profile details) through the app where this functionality is available.
- You may uninstall the app at any time, which will delete app data stored on your device. Server-side data (such as account, subscription, and survey records) may be retained as required for legal, accounting, or security reasons.
6. Children's Privacy
TASKBOX is not specifically targeted at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us so we can take steps to remove such information.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
